Hi, Has anyone run into issues with windows security pop ups when exporting to excel? I have one user when running a report to exl2k gets a windows security message. She fills in credentials and it pops-up again. I'm not having issue and no other users are reporting the issue. Had her add the site to trusted sites. She's on IE11 and Excel 2010.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Rev1,
Does this happen if she uses FORMAT EXL07 or XLSX?
I also saw an old post that said this for a similar problem:
Right-click on the Excel.exe file in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14, select Properties, Compatibility tab, check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:”, then select "Windows Server 2003 (Service Pack 1)"

You also get security popups generating EXL2K and trying to open in Excel 2007 or higher. Something about the file format does not match the file extension. There are posts on the board about this as well, this requires a registry change.
You also can get security popups if you are using templates that contain macros.
