We are working on a migration project . We ran the assessment tool and the system suggested few remediation . But in some cases the files run fine without doing the remediation . Is this a good approach ? What is the general rule of thumb to be followed. Should the files be re-mediated as per the assessment tool even though it runs well without the remediation. Please advise.

I think this depends on what the assessment tool found.

e.g.
If there is code that works but is not documented and therefore not supported, it is safer to fix it up
