I am creating a drill down from a graph to a .fex in DevStudio. It works fine if I have the .fex in a folder which is in APP PATH. I am trying to access it from a different folder and using the syntax &IBIAPP_app to specify the folder name. I get an error (FOC295) A VALUE IS MISSING FOR: &IBIAPP_app

Thanks for your help.This message has been edited. Last edited by: CT,
The reason for the error is that WebFOCUS is attempting to translate &IBIAPP_app by looking for a Dialogue Manager variable of that name. WHen you embed an & in non-WebFOCUS code, JS for example, you need to code it like this:
var uri = '/ibi_apps/WFServlet?IBIF_ex=ct-db-today-datastat-drill&|IBIAPP_app=ct_test';
a 'pipe' character right after the ampersand.

Give me code, or give me retirement. In FOCUS since 1991
Production: WF 7.7.05M, Dev Studio, BID, MRE, WebSphere, DB2 / Test: WF 8.1.05M, App Studio, BI Portal, Report Caster, jQuery, HighCharts, Apache Tomcat, MS SQL Server
Francis, Thank you. As always, your posts are very helpful I added the 'pipe' character, but to make it work I had to move the IBIAPP_app before IBIF_ex.
var uri = '/ibi_apps/WFServlet?IBIAPP_app=ct_test&|IBIF_ex=ct-db-today-datastat-drill';
