I have built reports with rolling 12 months but have encountered a new request that has me puzzled.

The finished report will group on various Product Types (first BY) and for each Product Type list one or more Products (second BY) over a 12 month rolling period. For each of the 12 rolling months I need to display 2 rows for different data fields for the same BY (Product). One field for Pounds and one for Dollars below each of the rolling months.

At the bottom the first BY (Product Type) present a 'Sub Total the Products' for each 'Product Type' in 2 rows again (one row for the Pounds field and one for Dollars) for each of the rolling months.

At the bottom of the report a Grand Total following the same layout.

Thoughts, suggestions or examples to review?

If you are using the GUI for this, the OVER option should be applied to the field that you want to appear under the previous field.

In App Studio, select the field in the report canvas and right click to obtain the context menu. Then click "Options". To the left of the resultant dialog will be a check box for "New Line (OVER)" - make sure that it is checked. It is unchecked by default.

In InfoAssist, click the "Format" tab followed by clicking the "Stack Measures" icon.
