I am getting this error when I'm using EXL2K PIVOT. I'm trying to learn how to use this format and i'd appreciate any input.

"(FOC3252) VERBS MUST PRECEDE 'HOLD FORMAT EXL2K PIVOT'"

here's my code below...

Could this be related to the fact that you're not specifying any verb (SUM/PRINT) in your request? Try adjusting it by using a SUM or PRINT there and perhaps including a measurement (any numeric value) Excel can use when pivoting the results.

SUM
   COMPUTE REC_CNT/I4 = 1;
BY driverNumber
...
END

This works for me in 7.7.03. Can you try in 7.6.8 to see what results you get?

If it works, you can perhaps model your request to match that. What happens if you remove the PAGEFIELDS and CACHEFIELDS from your request?
