I have a management request for a solution to produce a quarterly report that is burst and distributed to several team members via Report Caster.
The goal would be to have each recipient review their records, add their feedback, and save it in such a way that results in a single report where managers can see an aggregated list of all records and responses.
Originally thought team member reports could be formatted for Excel so they could add their comments then copy and paste to a master table stored in our department's webpage (Confluence platform). That said, I just want to eliminate an extra steps and am not married to any particular solution so long as the goal is met.
Ideas? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Tamra,
Have you considered Maintain ? You can create screens for data entry that will update the database. Reports can be generated for review purposes and for further the updates.
You could also use HTML for the data entry (updates) and SQL to insert into a table.
This question might be better on the WebFOCUS forum since it is not really InfoAssist specific.
