While trying to use Report Painter to create a report with the file RFLAREA, we get either this error:

Error Parsing MASTER File RFLAREA

or this error:

Error Parsing MASTER File RFLAREA ((WFC 2012) -12:PCb2: Javaio.EOFException (2012)).

This happens with only some users, not all. Some can get into Report Painter just fine.

Configuration:

On Sun unix:
WF Servlet using Tomcat
WF Reporting Server
Focus Databases

On Windows:
WF Power Reporter

All software at release 5.3.2

Has anyone seen this error, and do you have a recommendation that we could try? I have opened up a case with IBI and they are looking at wfscom traces, so I expect it will take a while.

Do you have any DM code after you create the hold file? I have found that sometimes Report Painter will not work if you have DM code after the hold file. I don't know why it does it.

This is a start-from-scratch attempt to write a report, so there's no code except the comment line that begins any new procedure.

Forgot to mention that this is a focus database and the .mas is definitely in the path. It is selected from a list.

We know we have to issue the appropriate USE before the report will be run.
