We are testing 7.7.02, with XP and windows 7. We have a 1600 page pdf document and after page 300, they are all blank in 7.7.02. Not so in 7.6.10. However, if you type in a page number in 7.7.02, say 975, it will take you there and show you the data. The pdf bookmark is not being used in the document composer, tried Set Pagenum On and those did not make a difference. Anyone ever see something like this?

I think you will find that one of the pages is corrupted.

I've seen something similar, and as you move through the document page be page, they show, then show blank, after that you see nothing.

If it is this, then you will need to find what is causing the corruption.

Is the PDF from a compount report ?

It is not a compound document. If it is corrupt, funny it should show all pages of the report in 7.6.10 in pdf. This also happens in excel, but not html. I get all the pages in html. Thank you.

Are you able to determine which page is breaks at ?

Comparing the HTML and PDF and Excel may lead to what is causing the problem.

I can only assume the data is the cause.

Depending on the size of the report, breaks at different points. It is more than one report. I had a 35 pg rpt and it went blank after page 8. Very strange. We did look at the data. Very strange.

For 7.7.02 we are using Unicode. Therefore, when we have a special character in data, Unicode cannot handle it so we have to use a Unicode font. Once I changed the font to a Unicode font, it worked. Case Solved.
