I'd like to use the new popup calendar in WebFOCUS Maintain 7.7 but I have no room next to my date fields for the small calendar icon. What I'd like to do is have the user double click the edit box for the date and have the calendar popup appear via a double click trigger on the edit box. Is there a way to call a Javascript Calendar function directly in 7.7? I've looked through dynCalendar.js in the maint directory and see the dynCalendar() function but I'm not sure if this is callable, or if there's a different function in there, and what needs to be passed as parameters. Also would the form still need to have the Calendar property set to 1? Would the edit box control itself have the Calendar property set to 0 so that the calendar icon doesn't appear? Finally, in a call to whatever function that would create the popup calendar, if it exists, would there be a way to specify the X offset of the calendar when it pops up? When using the calendar icon, the popup's upper left corner is to the right and below the calendar icon. I'd like it to be more centered on the calendar icon or, in my case, the edit box.

I checked with our technicals and was suggested that, since it will require customizing the calendar js files, this issue should be address by a case with Customer Support Services. Please call 1-800-736-6130, or access online at InfoResponse.
Cheers,
