Hi,

I have more than 20 AHTML reports. All are working fine except for one. That one report opens as a blank white screen. When I checked in view source, the page has only half of the content and loading status was done. I found a tech support article to use SAVEMATRIX ON. I tried and it worked. Now the page loads fully and I am able to see AHTML output.

I would like to know what SAVEMATRIX does and how it solved my problem. Will there be any other issues due to SAVEMATRIX setting?

SAVEMATRIX is turned on to be able to use RETYPE when AUTOTABLEF = ON.
What are the implications of using it globally?

SAVEMATRIX=ON is slower, because each time a report is run it is copied into
the internal matrix and consumes resources.
It is better to set it to ON before running a FOCEXEC whose output needs to
be saved for RETYPE. After the FOCEXECs whose output used with RETYPE, set
it OFF again.

SAVEMATRIX does not have to be set ON if AUTOTABLEF = OFF.
