I get an error for a javascript routine called doBeforeLoad. I've searched the IB site for it and indeed other people show it in their source code, but I don't have the routine available. Can anyone tell me where this is supposed to be and what it's supposed to have in it? For some reason I don't have it on my server.

It is a new JS rountine that came in with 7.6 and will be written into any HTML launch pages that you create using painter. If you then try and run these pages against a lesser version server then the function will not exist in the JavaScript libraries and will therefore give you the error that you see.
What are the different versions you are using or are they all 7.6.4? (Dev Studio, Client Srvr and Reporting Srvr).

We have a developer on 7.6.7 and everything else (including the server in question) is 7.6.5. I can find the unit in the DevStudio libraries on the server, but not in the other libraries. Not sure how that would happen.
Scratch that -- 7.6.0.3412
(Sigh.)

The best deal is to have the same release on each.
One thing that some people do is to use a later DS against an older CS/RS - not a real good idea in my view as they can always get tripped up by using newer syntax against a server that doesn't support it. I would also suggest that you keep everyone at the same level apart for a few machines to test newer releases - but then that is just my view.
I myself use 7.1.6 DS against 7.6.2 servers because I find the DS in later releases a pain (a whole other thread!). Because I only manually code I can always include the newer syntax if I need to.

Matching versions would be the easiest solution of course, but that's easier said than done when the consultants on the projects are working for a total of six different customers concurrently.
I'm going to upgrade to 7.6.5 client today, which likely will solve this problem plus one more occuring deeper in the js on the client.
Thanks for the help!
