I want to cancel a scheduled task in the Reportcaster. I am writing my own API for that.
I need some information on what column should be flipped other than NEXTRUNTIME so that it will not at all run. I dont want to delete the schedule from the tables.
Also can you please tell me the significance of the DATES column in the botsched .
I can only assume you are writing your own because you are not satisfied with the IBI Report Caster API that come with the product? However, if you look at what IBI is doing in their API, it may give you some insight on the columns they manipulate to acheive the desired result.

In report caster there is a check box which can be used to disable the schedule run without deleting the schedule. You might check on what changes in the system. The assumption here is you don't want to have to manually disable the schedule am I correct. Are you setting up the original schedule manually to start the process?
