It's amazing what a little comment will turn into. Now as one born in Wisconsin, ever heard of Potosi Beer, or the Hamm's bear (not a misspelling, the commercials used a bear). I have no idea what they tasted like as I'm not a beer drinker.

And as Tony says, its another boost to the ratings.

Snowing here. Hope you are all warm and dry.

It's a comment on weird foods and the language is not the nicest. Everything from ant eggs to ducklings in a shell and baby fetal mice in liquor. Ugh.

"fetal mice in liquor" probably passes the censor board, the f word doesn't, go figger.

I believe I saw the mature ducklings in the shell on FearFactor one time. Very disgusting.

Thanks!

If we "acronym" an oft used phrase from the midlands area of England we would have - tfab.
Any guesses (non Brits of course Wink).

Leah,

American "humor", yes I know it is totally different to that from the home country Wink and I have great fun trying to explain to my American nieces some of the jokes they hear when visiting, especially when the jokes really do not have the same impact to an American Roll Eyes

As a clue, the "tfab" is a parting comment similar in nature to Karen's "ttfn".

As for KISMIF, hmmm, I think Glenda has got it above Smiler

Good try on TFAB but not right though Glenda

Ok, so it's a tad unfair as it is local dialect, but "TFAB" would be "ta-ra for a bit" in the Wolverhampton area of England. A little tooooo obscure perhaps, but I bet you've all been thinking!!

Have a good weekend all...

Correct, Glenda. So did you ever have a round TUIT given to you?

On a serious note, I ask the world to keep my husband in your thoughts and prayers, he's having surgery next Monday.

Also, if the world news got information on the shooting at the Von Maur store in Omaha, we made national headlines on that one, please remember those families as well.

There is entirely too much violence int the world.

And yes we need a fun stuff forum.

I had guessed TFAB - time for another beer!

Leah - best of luck on Monday. CNN has covered that story, such awful sad news.

Just to add my two cents in regards to acronyms. A friend of mine and I came up with CAYL when IMing.

CAYL - Chat At You Later.

Well now, that's an easy one.
Everyone knows BTW is a dutch acronym for VAT.
WTH is probably shorthand for witch (although others state that it means 'What The Heavens'), while CNN stands for Certified Nephrology Nurse. You can look that one up in the dictionary.
And while you're down there rolling on the floor laughing out loud, please remember that it is better to have a good plan today than a perfect one tomorrow.
