Hi,

sometimes I get a Distribution failure:

The Distribution failed: Session.connect: java.security.SignatureException: Invalid Encoding for signature
...

In this case it's a FTP Distribution, which runs every day. The failure is not reproduceable when I run the Scheduler again, plus it appears sporadically.

I have no clue why it work perfect for weeks an then I get a single spike with that failure log. When I run the fex by itself, there also is no error.

I am using 8105M

Any ideas how to identify the cause?

Intermittent issues are the hardest to debug. I couldn't find any other cases on techsupport that were reported for WebFOCUS. techsupport would want a trace of this which may be difficult since you can't reproduce it immediately. Open a case and get their advice on how to proceed.
