[CLOSED] Getting THE FOCEXEC PROCEDURE CANNOT BE FOUND error in REPORT CASTER
Hi All,

I'm getting the following error on a scheduled report on report caster.

THE FOCEXEC PROCEDURE CANNOT BE FOUND: curterm.fex

This scheduled event is running a fex called ldif.fex which has -INCLUDE curterm.fex in it.
Now, the weird thing about this is that I still get the output in the distribution list. I have run the ldif.fex report through developer studio and it executed just fine. I didn't see anything wrong in the echo. I also made sure that the curterm.fex was actually in the same application folder.

Any ideas?

WF 7.6.10, Windows, Banner 8 , Oracle 10g.

Thanks.

Do you have the application in the Application Path for the Reporting Server?

It is also a good practice when doing includes to add the directory name. e.g.
-INCLUDE dirname/curterm.fex

That way it will always find the program regardless of what the app path is.

Hi Efrem and GinnyJakes,

First, takes for the responses.

In the report caster job we have the focexec stated at dirname/focexec.fex. Both fexes reside in the same directory. I will include the dirname on the fex for the -INCLUDE and see how it does on the next scheduled event.
