Hi, I am trying to print the total page count in PDF. Using this System variable TABLASTPAGE. -> For first 20 pages the variable is giving correct count. -> But after 20 pages the varibale is giving incorrect count. That is one less than actual count. I also tried using ON LINECTR NOSPLIT. To print logically releated records. But after 20 pages same error is coming
Can u please help me, How the TABLASTPAGE works or any other way to resolve this.
You don't way what release you are in. There were some problems with TABLASTPAGE (specifically with WHERE TOTAL and/or NOSPLIT in PDF reports, that I believe were all fixed in the 5.3 release. If you are in 5.3, then I would definitely open a call with Customer Support either at 1-800-736-6130, or through techsupport.ibi.com . If you do have NOSPLIT, try taking it off to see if the report is then correct.

Is any other way to print the correct page count in PDF. I also tried using ON LINECTR FOLD-LINE. Still if the pages is more i am getting the incorrect page count .
Try adding in ON byFieldName PAGE-BREAK and see if the problem is fixed. Most of the time when I have the page number problems it's because the data is too close to the bottom of the page. By using NOSPLIT and PAGE-BREAK it solves the problem.
