Dave: Since the schjedule (including the Subject line if distribution is via email) has to be complete prior to running the Fex, there is no way to put a column totall in the subject line. That said, here is a possible workaround that we use. Schedule and run the fex with FTP as the distribution mechanism. Grab the column total value. Now use SMTP to email the user with a URL to the FTP'd file, and put the column total value in the email subject.
