When I click on the 'Run' button on my launch page, a WebFOCUS report is expected to open up in a new window. This works fine sometimes but sometimes, in the new window, I get the message:
THIS PAGE IS USED TO HOLD YOUR DATA WHILE YOU ARE BEING AUTHORIZED FOR YOUR REQUEST. YOU WILL BE FORWARDED TO CONTINUE THE AUTHORIZATION PROCESS. iF THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN AUTOMATICALLY, PLEASE CLICK THE CONTINUE BUTTON BELOW

and then the launch page itself opens up in the new window. What could be the cause ? How can the above message be avoided ? Is it something related to session timeout ?

Is the lauch page from autoprompt ?

I have seen it put a second prompt page when a variable is found that is not populated, when the launch page is submitted.

No, its not an autoprompted launch page. Its an HTML page with many controls(form).

I don't believe this message is coming from anything inside of WF - don't recognize it as any sort of WF error or prompt. It is either from the web application server (doubtful) or it is coming from something created by the developer of the application so you'll have to find out who that is to determine how it is working.

Regards,

Darin

Thank you all. The issue seemed to occur because of the browser settings. It is now resolved.
