I have a case open with IBI, but I was wondering if any of you have experienced the same issue. We recently upgraded from 8.0.06 to 8.0.08. This issue had never happened before we upgraded.

The topic is ReportCaster. I have a sporadic issue where the RC jobs that are scheduled to run will not execute. It is not that they executed and failed, they just never tried to execute. I look at all of the jobs in the RC explorer and they have a "Next Run Time" that is already in the past.

I restart RC and all the jobs that should have run jump in the queue, but it causes a significant delay in getting the information out to the organization.

I have checked the RC scheduler log, the Event, Monitor, and Audit logs and nothing points to a distribution server failure.

Has anyone experience this issue as well? Does anyone have recommendations for how I could get to the bottom of it?

Did you check the java version compatibility.
