We have a Javascript function in a page that consultants originally provided us.
/* Dynamically change the procedure on a request object */
function setReport(reqid, ibif_ex, ibimr_folder)
{
if (myXmlRoot || loadXmlDoc())
{
var pattern = "//requests/request[@requestid='" + reqid + "']";
var requestNode = getSingleNode(myXmlRoot, pattern);
if (requestNode)
{
requestNode.setAttribute("ibif_ex", ibif_ex);
requestNode.setAttribute("IBIMR_folder", ibimr_folder);
}
}
}
I don't see myXmlRoot or loadXmlDoc in any of the javascript files I could find. I'd like to find out what this is doing. Can anyone shed some light on what this is doing... where is the getSingleNode function coming from etc.?
Thanks, shelzalee.This message has been edited. Last edited by: shelzalee,
The function is contained in file ibirls3.js, the main WebFOCUS JavaScript library. I can't help you with understanding in the setReport function and beware, ibirls3.js is not for the faint of heart!
