We have Webfocus 762, no MRE, running on Unix. Without security, any Developer Studio installation can see every folder in the development server, as they need access to the proper master files; but we need to limit access to just one project folder. I se soem reference to this in the security bulletin, but its hard to decipher. Is there a way of setting security, within the WebFocus tools and cfgs, without having to set up a cfg file within every single folder? We are running opsys=ON.

We have the same situation here. To secure the folders since we have disparate business units is that after directories are created, we change the group id to the business unit and set the gid: chmod g+s .
Another option would be to dynamically set the application path based on the user credentials. This is done using user profiles and is described in the manuals and the online help from the server console.
