I am trying to READ a csv file and for each record in the csv file I need to do some processing. With in that process, I have some more READ files. When I try to run my code, somewhat it got in to the loop because of too many nested READ's.
Example code is below.
FILEDEF INP DISK C:\IBI\TEST.CSV -RUN
-LOOP
-READ INP,&F1,&F2,&F3 -IF &IORETURN NE 0 THEN GOTO DONE;
TABLE FILE GETUSER PRINT USERID WHERE COL1 EQ &F1 AND COL2 EQ &F2 AND COL3 EQ &F3 ON TABLE SAVE AS USRDAT END
-READ USRDAT &USRID -RUN
TABLE FILE OTHINFO PRINT VAL1 VAL2 WHERE COL1 EQ &F1 AND COL2 EQ &F2 AND COL3 EQ &F3 ON TABLE SAVE AS OTHDAT END
-READ OTHDAT &V1 &V2 -RUN
-GOTO LOOP; -DONE -EXIT
Any thoughts.
