I am checking if there is a way in putting a constant value in a left outer join like this below… My base file is MT940 and need to do an left outer join with another file RTEXTFIELD..with 2 known files in both the files AND with RTEXTFIELD.FIELD_CODE EQ 61..That field is not avaliable in the base master file MT940..So i created a define Field Field_CD in MT940 and done the Join...But when i about to create the Report and selecting MT940, It throws me FOC370 error..the fieldname used in the join cannot be found in webfocus MT940.FIEld_CD (370)

Can some please help me why i am getting this error message..My Web focus enironment is WF 7.6.9 and the both the files above refer to SQL server 2005 tables

You did remember to code WITH real_field_name for the defined field in the JOIN didn't you.
