Does anyone know how to reference the burst values (stored in reportcaster) in the fex that gets scheduled? I need to see if I can use those values in a where clause.
burst values are not stored in report caster. They only exist in the data and the burst field referenced is the first BY field used in your request.
If you are talking about distribution, there are burst values entered in the address book for your distribution list, but again, they only distribute if those values exist in your data.
Regards,
Darin

You can store the burst values you intend to distribute in a file accessible to your fex. The you can use the same file of burst values to create a Dynamic Address Book at schedule execution time. Alternatively, if you know the address book that you intend to use when you schedule your fex you can create a synonym for the ReportCaster table which contains the burst values and have the fex being scheduled 'TABLE FILE BOTDEST' and retrive the values.
