I am either getting thicker in my old age or needing thicker glasses. All I find in the documentation on MR Export is something about restful webservices...
So, the "Export" functionality that made the zip file is no longer in the "Administration Console" under "Utilities"?
The "View Builder" makes an XML that seems to be users and roles only.
The BI Portal has a "Change Management" that creates a "Scenario"... but its a file in the repository? I can't touch it.
So, how do I do a promotion from say DEV to TEST in WF8? Different boxes, different databases, no direct connections between them, is it that 'scenario' I need to find and have the DBA's transfer or...? Am I just getting confused.
And is that "Scenario" in what form? What I am after is can you still get an "image" of the MR environment in a zipfile? Reason is I just had the repository crash and lost 4 days of coding, as the restore wasn't quite "fresh", and I'd rather keep the stuff in a sourcesafe.
Thanks for any insights, Hank, your cranky admin. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Hank W.,

There is an export directory there. When you create a scenario, it may reference in the repository, but the zip is located there. Once you grab the zip then move it to the new server location, just in the import directory.
If you used the Enterprise Domain Template to create your content folder/portal/group, make sure you include those in the scenario and check the box that include the rules to make sure they follow in the next environment.
