Has anyone ever used an FML report to create a template for an excel report? I know this is an odd question but I am in the middle of creating an elaborate excel report and before I finish accumulating all the data for the report I am trying to decide how my template will facilitate this.
Oh and the reason i need to use a template is because their will be charts on the second sheet driven by data on the first sheet.
Thanks for any advice in advance. This message has been edited. Last edited by: <Emily McAllister>,
Just a thought regarding FML. You can POST data using FML and then PICK it up in another procedure ( or the same procedure). Possibly, you can POST the data to a file and use it somehow in Excel.

Question - Why use FML though is it due to the FML functionality that you need?

I may not need FML formatting if can get the template to work but FML allows me to to put different results on the same page as rows
