And, if that fails: Window --> Options --> tab Explorer, check 'Show projects on explorer tree'. It is known to happen that this is unchecked automatically when DevStudio could not connect to the currently active development environment on startup.

Robab, What do you see? Just the WebFOCUS environments? Or also a Projects on .... (whatever your environemnt is called)? Since you do not have a localhost environment, you will also not see that one of course, but you should be able to see the one that has been defined. Did you check my previous post?

To be honest, I have no idea as to why you do not have an Explorer tab when you open up the Window-option dialog. You may want to open a case for that with IB.
There still is a way to get your application environment to show. But you will need to be able to edit your registry to do that. Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Information Builders\DeveloperStudio\71\FOCSHELL\DesktopSettings\Shell. In this container you'll find a key called ShowApplicationNS. Double click on it and change its value to 1.

"Localhost" is just a name that comes with the install that literally points to your local config of iis/tomcat and local reporting server installed with Dev Studio. You should be able to re-create it quite easily.
