Hi, My requirement is that I need to display multiple charts(2 charts in each slide) in PPT format in a compound report.I am trying this out for the first time. Can someone give me some suggestions?
Thanks, Suji.

Is the compound you are trying out for the first time or the ppt output or graphs? Not sure.
I would run your graphs in separate reports and make sure they are what you want. Then go into document composer and rather than insert/include a procedure, I would reference existing procedure.

Kathy, I am trying compound report with graphs with PPT format for the first time. What is document Composer? Can you please explain? Please provide a sample code. Thanks, Suji.
Suji, it is called PDF Layout Painter in 7.6.4 and changed to Document Composer in 7.6.7. The composer allows you to create compound documents in pdf, excel, html, and ppt format.
You can get to it by creating a new fex and selecting that option to open the report. A recommendation is to have your 'child' fexes written and debugged ahead of time and then do an external reference once in the composer.
Do some reading on the topic then put a prototype together with one of the sample files.
Thanks Ginny. Well put. I couldn't get back to this until now. But doing your graphs individually works best. Then putting it all together in a compound report for the flow, would be your frosting on the cake. Enjoy.
