I started testing my reports on my VISTA machine and I came across several issues running reports from developer studio 7.6.6.
In order for procedure to run properly I have to go through the following process.
Within developer studio, the first time I run a report I get a blank screen and a window that says “No Query information to Decode". Keep in mind this is in all three output formats (Excel, PDF and HTML). The second time, I have to execute a different procedure and I get an error “No query information to decode". I then go back to run the original procedure I executed and I get my report returned with the expected results.
Also in Developer Studio Options, the box 'Use new browser to execute' must be checked for the report to show up properly. If not, the browser opens another tab with "No query information to decode" on every page.
If you have maintenance and therefore support, contact your local IB to check whether they have certified your release for use with Vista. If they have then raise the case with them. This is really a tech support type question.
If you don't have paid maintenance and therefore no support then it would be a good idea to get it, as this forum is not an alternative (and no, I do not work for IB, I just think that if you want tech support of this calibre then you ought to pay for it )

Hello, While i started testing my reports on Vista SP1, it gave me the same errors. By googling a few pages i found this piece of information very useful. Just open WEBFOCUS by Right clicking on the WebFocus Developer link as 'Run as administrator'. This should work. Let me know if this was helpful
Thanks
Yuvraj
