Hi all.
I have a monthly report in excel files and i need to build in Webfocus semiannual report rely on this excel files. Monthly report have one format. Can you show me direction in what I must moving?
1.How better agregate data from monthly report?
2.How I must work with ODBC datasource, because i have a lot of files, but in ODBC administration tools ( Windows) i must show a workbook of file??
P.S. Sorry for my English, I am not speak english well(((

For each excel workbook:
- define a data-region within the sheet(s) that will become accessable by webfocus
- define an odbc connection for the excel file
- define the data adapter in the reporting server for the created odbc connection
- create the master files for every named region inthe excel file(s)
And remember, that when you connecting to the excel sheet with webfocus, it cannot be open in any other manner.

It means than i must define odbc connection for each excel file? When define the data adapter in reporting server, i must enter name of odbc connection, what name i must use?

Yes, 1 odbc connection (system DSN) per excel file.
In the data server, for connection name - anything that you fancy; this name will be used in the access file. For the datasource enter the odbc connection name as you defined it - beware, it may be case sensitive.
