Upgraded from Webfocus 436 to 71 on UNIX?

Hello Everybody,
We are planning to upgrade our HP/UNIX Webfocus 436 application (MRE, Reportcaster and Dashboard)to Webfocus 7.1.
Has anyone out there experienced this? Issues to watch out for?
Any input would be appreciated.

Tightening of the code, you should test all your fex. What works in 4.3.6 may not in 7.1.

Watch the dashboard conversion, we didn't have many, but our conversion person had it wiped out some how.

Report Caster is 'different' and has two modes of appearance.

Report Caster is a separate menu option. You can't right click in MRE, if you had used that option, you have to use the caster icon.

We go against DB2 so had some issues in how we checked for MISSING.

The look and feel of submission is definitely different in the MRE world. Some may say better, some may say worse.

Currently don't have the java autoupdates on as if you go above 1.4. some such, it doesn't function on the scroll bars correctly.

That's all that comes to mind at the moment.

You should use the Managed Reporting Migration utility to migrate the MR basedir and Dashboard files, but use the one that comes with 7.1 for both the extract from 4.3.6 and load to 7.1, since it's been enhanced to handle Dashboard migration.

After the migration, Dashboard requires that you reload the servlet if you have the servlet engine running when you do the Migration Load step.
