Does anyone know how to pass values from a control to a new HTML window to another control?
I am able to pass values from the new HTML window with the control to the original control, but I want it both ways.
This is what I am using below, but it's not populating.
Any help or suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks
function button1_onclick(ctrl) {
var random = Math.floor((Math.random()*100000));
var values1 = IbComposer_getCurrentSelection('textarea1');
URL='http://webfocus-dev.wendysi.com/ibi_apps/WFServlet?IBIMR_action=MR_RUN_FEX&IBIMR_sub_action=MR_STD_REPORT&IBIMR_fex=app/base.fex&IBIMR_folder=#reportssw1jz&IBIMR_domain=marketba/marketba.htm='+random+values1;
myWindow=window.open(URL,'','width=500,height=500');
//myWindow.document.write("This is 'myWindow'!");
myWindow.focus();
}

From our technicals: Normally the url has a &TEST=value, if the called HTM page has a control with the name of TEST then it should automatically be assigned the value. For additional info, please open a case with Customer Support Services and you can ask for Barry. The phone number is 1-800-736-6130, or access online at InfoResponse.
Cheers,
Kerry
