Hi All,

I am exporting data into excel sheet using an existing style sheet. The value for the last column derived from the following calculation.

TOTPER/D12.2B% = (TOTAL_AMT - TOTAL_EXP) * 100;

The above will return a percentage value. In case if it return minus value then the display should be like (10.23%). But in my report its printing in (10.23)% format.

Is there any way to print in (10.23%) format. The percentage symbol has to come inside the parentheses.

Thanks

Antony Gubert

It's the way that WF is passing the format combined with the way Excel is interpreting it. To get WF to do it your way you would either have to use an Excel Template (if you have >= 7.1.x) or raise an NFR with IB.

Yes... I have 7.1.3. Interestingly, the SUBFOOT data is coming in correct format. That is (10.23%). This is may be because I am using some classes (CSS) for SUBFOOT.

For the body data I am not using any classes, and even if I try to use some classes, WebFOCUS doesn’t show any different.

Thanks
