[Close] Case opened; Problem with ON TABLE SET BYDISPLAY OFF as 7.6 default
We use reporting objects and have been able to use the OTHER section to put selective SET values there (prior to 7.6). Now with 7.6, it appears that the report element is defaulting to ON TABLE SET BYDISPLAY OFF !

This overrides our SET BYDISPLAY = ON that we have in the OTHER section....

How can I change the reportassist default values in 7.6 (if possible).

Thanks,

If you want this to be the default, try setting it in the server profile.

Thanks Pat,

I'll try it in the server profile, but only to see if reportassist picks-up it's defaults from there?

My understanding is, that I can set it in the profile, but that's using the syntax outside of TABLE. The reportassist tool is defaulting to the inside of TABLE with an OFF setting. This overrides any pre SET settings.

Hope this is making sense,

These are the perils of rushing headlong into the latest release!

Ha! Francis,

You're right... however, our production servers are still 7.14. It's seems we've been in a parallel test mode forever (several months now).

Would we ever get anything new without the rushers?
