Does anyone actually use an external scheduler with WebFOCUS without using DSTRUN?
I have been trying to get DSTRUN to work so that I could use Redwood to kick off jobs in ReportCaster, but it appears that it will not work because we use a secured browser (HTTPS).
I am aware that this kind of thing is supposed to be possible with JAVA, but I am not a JAVA programmer and the information supplied in the ReportCaster API manual is not nearly complete enough for someone with no JAVA experience. Does anyone have or know where to find much more detailed information on how to use JAVA to execute WebFOCUS reports?This message has been edited. Last edited by: Darrell,
