I use the text editor to write my web focus programs. (I'm old and know how to get the information I want using the editor and have not attempted to learn the new process.)
I wrote so many fex's that the developer studio can no longer read the fex's in the directory.
We have since established new domains where I can store the fex's based on various categories.
I do have the fex's copied on a flash drive and I was wondering how I can copy the fex's from the flash drive to the new domain established under web focus. We are a Banner School working with web focus via our Novell network. I have access to create fex's thru the developer and have the flash drive that I can plug into my Windows Xp pc. Can anyone give me instructions??
I really depend on getting all my information for reporting via web focus fex's so I have to get this situation resolved ASAP.

thanks,
jab

You first must copy the fex's into the domain's import directory. You will find the directory in the /ibi/WebFOCUSxx/basedir directory.

Open dev studio and go to the domain.

Create a report group

right mouse click on the group and select New/Import.

Select the fex's you want to import and click ok.
