So, what does "COLUMN TRUNCATED BECAUSE WIDTH EXCEEDS MARGINS; COLUMN: 28" (the number, 28, varies) really mean when executed via ReportCaster with Bursting in WebFOCUS 8?

This runs really well when executed from within WebFOCUS Developers Studio with the "ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF" line in each of the associated fexes, each page has an individual report for the select burst value.

Never mind. It's due to an "A255" field which needed to have a "A30" appended to it in the report itself...

Then again. I do have some issues with the report contents being in the wrong "report_name" as per the bursting. I have an IB case on this.

As I think I noted once before, sometimes you can shed light on what report component crosses the line, by selecting a humungous paper size, and applying alternating BG colors.

I agree, the BG colors, or just "color", is a great way to ensure you're analyzing what you think you're analyzing... Thanks, Doug
