I am trying to run WebFocus 7.6.5 (not certified for Win7) on a self-serv app on a PC with 7.6.5.
When I run Focshell.exe (run as an administrator) I get a message Sorry, same demo has been re-installed.
Any clue what this means or how to get 7.6.5 running under Win7?This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

This rings a bell, very faintly, from many years ago ... Has something to do with the registry, something not being compatible. Can you run the focshell.exe in XP mode on windows 7? Try it and see if that helps.

Have you tried to run the thisfoci.bat which sits in the devstudio76\srv76\wfs\etc under the the IBI root, where ever that may be. It cleans up a messed Win registry (how unusual).
