Can anyone tell me if there's a syntax on how to filter top 5 records in the report after I created a compute field that is sorted by highest? I tried doing a retrieval limit on the report but the report is showing the top 5 records instead of the top 5 records with highest value on computed field...

Look for Creating Reports With WebFOCUS Language > Sorting Tabular Reports > Sorting Rows > Displaying a Row for Data Excluded by a Sort Phrase > How to Display Data Excluded by a Sort Phrase
[RANKED] BY {HIGHEST|LOWEST|TOP|BOTTOM} nsrtfield [AS 'text']
[PLUS OTHERS AS 'othertext']
[IN-GROUPS-OF m1 [TOP n2]]
[IN-RANGES-OF m3 [TOP n4]

If I recall correctly, if there are muliple records with the same value, then you'll get the top # records not the top # values. Or, if in the case of TOP 5, the 5th and 6th records have the same value, then you'll not see the 6th record. Play with it to verify...
Caveat: Unless something has changed or addional logic is introduced to handle this situation or something has changed in a newer release..

I was able to do a tabular sort on the field I wanted sorted by highest...I had to do a sum on the column and did average then set limit to retrieve top 5.
TABLE FILE SQLOUT SUM realTime AVE.over2Hrs BY TOTAL HIGHEST 5 over2Hrs NOPRINT BY LOWEST puCity BY puState ON TABLE SUBHEAD "Live Loading Detail" WHERE over2Hrs GT 0; ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD ON TABLE NOTOTAL ON TABLE HOLD AS WEEKLYSUMMARY ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON ON TABLE SET STYLE * INCLUDE = endeflt, $ TYPE=TABHEADING, LINE=1, JUSTIFY=LEFT, $ ENDSTYLE END
