I did this all within the GUI from the Series tab there is a drop down called data labels which I selected "above" in my example.
This is true when you want to display data label on a regular measure (Y-axis). What SMW is requesting is to have the data value on a TRENT line which is not possible using the GUI (and even using code as far as I know).

I thought I would work around it by showing exponential trend line, then a separate bar to show CAGR value for 3 years.
But when I did that, CAGR shows up as stack bar on top of my sales bar. I could not make it show up as separate bar for end of 2017 only, instead of CAGR for each year.
Let pretend that MTH is different years and that CAGR has the CAGR calculation/result (not a default value as I did). Why not use a report similar to that ? It display sales value per "Year" and the CAGR at each year. That way you see the CAGR trend.

You still have other graph option to show multiple info on a graph such as below.
Do not pay attention to my COMPUTEs, I've just tried to show something that make variation on graph.

quote:
In my graph, CAGR is a calculated field. But I only need CAGR show up once, which is end of 2017.
But if this is really what you need, then you can create a ReferenceLine at CAGR 2017 value. Maybe that can make the "job"
