You may know that we are closing the gap between the functionality of the Report Assistant, Graph Assistant, Power Painter and Advanced Graph Assistant tools and InfoAssist in WebFOCUS Release 8. As you could imagine, this is a major effort and we need to make sure that reports, charts and compound documents of all types created in those tools will open properly in InfoAssist. We would like your help in this matter if possible by giving us reports, charts, and compound document procedures that you have created in those older tools so they can be added to our ongoing testing. We do not need the data. We know that data is sensitive and we would not ask for that. What we do need though are the master files.

If you would consider helping us with this, it is definitely greatly appreciated. We would need MR migrate extracts of the existing 77/76 basedirs, and copies of the master files along with the names of the application folders where the master files need to reside. To perform an MR migrate extract, you would follow the steps in the WebFOCUS Installation guide under the heading of “Managed Reporting and Dashboard Migration”. All you would need to follow are the steps for the Extract Step.
