i hope you all doing great. i face the issue when i am tryin to generate Active report with Flash Flex format. i got this type of error

0 NUMBER OF RECORDS IN TABLE= 89 LINES= 89
CPJAVA: Error in processing INIT command for Class ibi.jsflex.IBIRunJSCOMFlex

i appreciate your response.
i check the Link that support, the first one navigate me to Techsupport Technical Document but it is not contains any resolution. the second URL i follow the procedure to configure and start JSCOM3 services. but still the issue not resolved.

hmmmmm i dont know i will try to update JDK to the latest one.

i appreciate your suggestions

i just check a documentation called WebFOCUS Enable for Adobe Flex User’s Guide version 1.0.1 and i found the following pre requiset to do Active Report with Flex Format


*WebFOCUS Developer Studio to develop the procedures used in an application.
*WebFOCUS Reporting Server to deploy an application.
{**}Flex Builder 2.0 or 3.0 with the Flex charting components (Flex Charting 2). The charting
components are licensed separately. If the charting components are not installed with
Flex Builder, you can use all of the Information Builders components except charts.
*Flash Player 9 or higher, which is required both at development time to test an application,
and at deployment time. Users with earlier versions need to upgrade to the latest version
of Flash Player.
{**}WebFOCUS Enable, which is a .SWC file that is imported into a Flex project in Flex Builder.
*WebFOCUS Managed Reporting if you are going to deploy WebFOCUS Enable applications
in Managed Reporting Business Intelligence Dashboard, or if you are going to use
WebFOCUS Enable Managed Reporting specific custom components in your application


i appreciate any one who did this before can just make it clear or if he can put instruction that enable us to configure this part specially with Flex Builder and WebFOCUS Enable.

Hi All

I re Install every thing spicially JAVA i use the same one that shipped with WF now it is working fine. i can generate Active FLEX report

but i have one thing when i put my procedure inside compsed document and specify the out put as PDF it start downloading file call WFServlet.

Can we change the name of file to assign report name & specify the file extension like Sales.PDF
I appreciate your help Developers.

i will goin on with WF enable since i read a mazing documentation related to the Active FLEX.

i will keep updating my progress related on that.
