I have a button on my html form that calls a procedure that builds a hold file containing information related to user input.
The issue is that in the 'create hyperlink' of my button, I have the option of a 'frame' or 'window' and I'd like to have no feedback from this .fex whatsoever. Just create the hold file, that's it.
Is this possible?
Prod: Single Windows 2008 Server running Webfocus 7.7.03 Reporting server Web server IIS6/Tomcat, AS400 DB2 database.
What one usually does in this type of execution is to point the fex to an iframe somewhere on the html form, it could actually even be hidden using CSS.
I usually have the iframe visible and upon completion of the triggered fex, a short message is displayed, "Successful" or "Error", generated by a HTMLFORM within the triggered fex. It's a good idea to have some feedback from the fex, in case something went wrong.
