Has anyone made connections to DB2 where separate connections are used for secure vs unsecure tables? I'm hoping to set it where the user is prompted for secure tables but trusted for unsecure so that an ID on the database would not be needed for unsecure data. Are any special settings needed? for 8.0.07 windows client AIX reporting serverThis message has been edited. Last edited by: <Kathryn Henning>,

I'm not sure to the extent at which you are looking to secure your information, but what I do is I use a read only account to access the tables. This account has access to the entire schema. I then utilize DBA security to say which metadata my end users have access to. Maybe DBA security is something that you should look into.
