I know that there are no problems/gotchas upgrading from MVS FOCUS 7.1.1 to MVS FOCUS 7.6.4. However, any information anyone has on bad coding that FOCUS let pass in 7.1.1 but that is not OK now, please post it. For example we know that MFDs that worked in 7.1.1 with minor errors will not in 7.6.4.
Thanks,

Thanks for your replies. I'm talking ONLY about a Mainframe upgrade.
And Francis, if everyone coded according to the documentation there shouldn't be problems - but since that doesn't happen I'm looking for stuff people encountered (like the MFD example).

Sorry! I didn't notice that you're talking about MVS.
I'm fairly sure that (for us) upgrading from WF 5.3.2 to WF 7.6. will be a bit of a horror story, and I assume that upgrading from WF 7.1. to WF 7.6. has been difficult for some.
Mainframe may be painless.
Francis
