We have a button that links to an HTML page. It seems the default for any page we open is about 40% full screen, is there a setting/property that can cause the html page to open full screen?

Just a few clarification questions that will help us get started in answering this:

  • What browser ar you using?
  • When you say full screen, do you mean:
    • The page to fill the entire browser viewport?
    • The browser to fill the entire monitor?
  • How is the html page being opened?
    • In a new tab/window?
    • In the same window?
    • In an iframe in the same window?
    • etc
  • How did you create the html page that is containing the button?
    • HTML Canvas? (AppStudio)
    • Raw html
  • What is the html page that is being opened?
    • A fex file?
      • Autoprompt?
      • No autoprompt?
      • Does it use an HTMLFORM block
    • A .html/.htm page created by the htmlcanvas in AppStudio?
    • Raw html?

IE Explorer 11

We want the page to fill a maximized browser window....the entire monitor sans the task bar at the bottom; ie open full screen.

Page is opened from another HTML page when the user clicks a button with the new HTML page associated with it on via tasks an animations.

Via HTML canvas - both the calling and called HTML pages.

It is an HTML page calling a second HTML page.

Thanks!

That would require some javascript in the page being opened. See https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_js_fullscreen.asp and scroll down to the Fullscreen Document"
