I'm developing an application that generates reports in MS Word format. The report generation process is perfect but an empty window is generated requiring the business users to manually close it for every report generated.
Sample code is as follows:
... ON TABLE HOLD AS HOLD1 FORMAT HTMTABLE ...
SET HTMLFORMTYPE = DOC -RUN -HTMLFORM BEGIN !IBI.FIL.HOLD1 ; -HTMLFORM END
I've tried a number of WebFocus WEBVIEW... commands and the best configuration places the report in that window but there is no option to save to a MS Word file.
Any assistance is appreciated.

This client is on 7.7.03. Do you know of a technique to name the window that -HTMLFORM creates? If so, maybe issuing a WINDOW.CLOSE with the same name will do the trick.
Thanks...
Nick

have you messed about with the redirection settings? wf admin console, config, redirection settings.... that panel of choices has to do with that extra window being opened... whatever you have for .doc extension(y or n), change it, clear cache, and try again.
