Hi,

I have a Parm member containing a date (RECFM = FB, LRECL = 80). I do not want to write a Fomast though I want to read the file for selecting the records of particular dates. What are various ways to read a parm member without having a Focmast.

Also can a Focmast be defined at runtime prior to allocation of physical sequential file.
