Is there any way to deploy a project from the project development environment straight through the MRE environment? Or maybe someone can share their experiences with me on how to deploy your files.

Are you talking about Maintain?

If not, please find info below.
1.Access your homepage

http://server:port/ibi_apps/ 

2.Click Managed Reporting Change Management Extract,select your domain and click Create Change Package.Now, it will save as a zip file.
3.Copy your zip file in /ibi/WebFOCUS7x/utilities/cm
4.Click Managed Reporting Change Management Load and load your zip file.

Believe, you're moving your application within the same track.(not from 7 to 8). If you want to move from 7x to 8x, then your approach should be Migration(not CM).

Thank you for your reply Rifaz. Not talking about MAINTAIN, just regular procedures, .fex files from the Project Development Environment to MRE.

There seems to be another way to deploy in MRE. It's called 'Managed Reporting Change Management Extract/Load'. At this point we need to figure out how and if this works in practice. It seems like a hassle, each time you want to deploy your files, you will need to 'leave' the Developer Studio application.
