I used the follg code for getting multiple excel sheets/tabs in one excel workbook. I use Excel 2000. It displayed HTML raw code (with embedded XML markup) showing up in Excel. Any idea if this is supposed to work in Excel2000 ? Am I supposed to tweak the Explorer/Internet Explorer settings to consider as some other file type (may be xht) ?
I skimmed through the documentation link you provided. There is a note in it that states: " Note: Excel 2002 (Office XP) or higher must be installed. This feature will not work with earlier versions of Excel since they do not support the Web Archive file format."
You are using Excel 2000 per your post so this won't work. You also need Excel 2002 to use HOLD FORMAT EXL2K BYTOC -- an alternate way to get data burst to multiple worksheets -- so that isn't an option either.
